Winter Practice Tips!!

Winter is usually the time that most golfers go inside to hibernate, dreaming about the coming of Spring and the start of the new glf season. A winter practice routine, however, can make it easier to get off the ground running when Spring comes around. Here are a few ideas about what you can do to get ready for the new season.

Work on your putting. This is something that you can do indoors and it will go a long way towards improving score. Take two 2x4’s and lay them on the carpet, forming a channel between them a little wider than your putter head. Practice putting straight back and through. Most people may think that they are putting straight even when they are not.

Conditioning. Don’t worry, you don’t have to go out & join a gym ( you can if you really want to and it won’t hurt you), but you can focus on stretching exercises for increased flexibility - and this will make your swing a little easier.

Remember, a little work now will pay off a lot later. So, go get to work.
